GLERUS LLP publishes SubscriptionRISK, an Android app for understanding recurring subscription costs, trial renewals, subscription stacks and cost per use. This policy applies to the SubscriptionRISK app and the official SubscriptionRISK pages on glerus.org.
SubscriptionRISK does not require a user account. It is a calculator and educational tool, not a bank, lender, broker, payment processor, subscription marketplace or financial adviser.
Subscription amounts, billing periods, trial details, usage estimates and scenario values are used to perform calculations on the device. They are not intended to be sent to GLERUS to use the core calculator.
The app may store local preferences such as selected language and currency on the device so that the interface can remember them between sessions.
SubscriptionRISK is designed around local calculation. Removing the app or clearing its app data through Android may remove locally stored preferences.
Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into free-text fields, if any are added in future versions.
