Privacy Policy for LoanRISK, an Android loan cost and risk calculator from GLERUS.
GLERUS LLP publishes LoanRISK, an Android app for understanding loan cost, repayment time, interest, fees and risk signals. This policy applies to the LoanRISK app and the official LoanRISK pages on glerus.org.
LoanRISK does not require a user account. It is a calculator and education tool, not a loan application service, lender, broker, bank, credit bureau or financial adviser.
Users may enter loan amounts, interest rates, terms, fees, down payments, rollover assumptions or extra-payment scenarios. These values are used to calculate results on the device.
GLERUS does not ask you to submit these loan details to a GLERUS server and does not use LoanRISK to collect loan applications, bank account credentials, identity documents or credit reports.
The app may store preferences such as language, theme, currency, or recently used calculator settings locally on the device. These settings are used to make the app easier to use and are not intended to identify you.
At the time of this policy, LoanRISK itself is designed around local calculation and does not require third-party advertising or in-app analytics operated by GLERUS to perform its core function.
The glerus.org website may use analytics cookies only after consent. Cookie choices are stored so that the site can remember whether analytics cookies were accepted or rejected.
Google Play, Android, device manufacturers, app stores and payment providers may process information under their own privacy policies when you download, purchase, update or review the app. GLERUS does not control those independent platform processes.
Because loan scenarios are intended to remain on the device, GLERUS does not maintain a central database of your LoanRISK calculations. If you remove the app or clear its local data, locally stored preferences may be deleted according to Android behaviour.
LoanRISK is intended for general financial education and calculation use. It is not directed to children as a consumer loan product, and it does not knowingly collect children’s personal data.
